One of the greatest joy that keeps us make-up artistes, or would i say, Face Stylists, On-going is lovely feedbacks and reviews from customers. But usually it’s those negative ones that make us a better man tomorrow!!!! Bring it on man Mr. Negatives! 😉
Arrival of June will mark a super busy month for me!
*Upcoming make overs, preparation for make up classes, lots of research & materials to be done, servicing of existing new & regular customers. (& why it this necessary? Becoz I don’t network for the sake of network. We don’t meet people for lunches for the sake of 100% business. Maybe it’ll be more effective this way but things will be like robot. How about we balance to 70% business, 30% of relaxation? Building of long term relationships can be so much more in return than just a short one. In my eyes, its a blessing to receive great customer service. but its double the joy to be able to provide that form of service to others.
**Oversea Self-improvement seminars for my brain are already planned, some pending. (who say make up artistes do not need upgrading courses too? But frankly speaking, most of my friends would agree indeed it is seldom heard of. Yes, people in my profession do read up for reference etc, but to have arty-farty people like make up stylists, hair stylists, or even nails stylists to attend strict / solemn business seminars by anthony, adam khoo etc, goodness, have you ever heard of it as a common affair? You’ve found one here though. To me, these seminars are BRAIN TONICS & BATTERY CHARGING time. Even the best handphone needs to be constantly charged. Its the same logic.
***Self objective: master photoshops & more make overs!! Now I know why do photoshop experts get paid a bomb!! The work they do is crazily heavy!! They really do need protein to repair worn out tissues, bilberry for poor little eyes & B complex to calm their nerves down in case system hangs without having saved their work which spent hours of doing it. I really appreciate and learnt the beauty of DELEGATION & DUPLICATION!! ) Its something every business people ought to know. lol!! Woooooo & so far there is one role model whom i look up upon to: bobbi brown! Make up artiste cum successful business entrepreneur who manages both career and family soooo wellllll!!
Give thanks whenever you’re able to smell your love ones by your side 🙂
JUNE highlights: Featuring Brows & Guys & Make over Part II
Whenever I played Harvest Moon game or the SIMS, i’ll always fast-forward the speed to make every minute pass to get end results faster. If you’re a huge fan to games like these, you’ll understand what i mean. I wanna the SIM to grow quickly, gain a skill quickly, fall in love quickly, get a promotion quickly etc. One thing i will usually do slowly: & that is to take my time to build my dreamm home for every SIM. Guess we’re all too used to the fast paced lifestyle since the day we’re born but when it comes to our dream, we will still allow a little more time for it.
Here as I type this article, I’m recapping what went on for this past month. fEW significant stuff:
*Through a friend of mine, introduced me a wonderful sandpainter artiste who does beautiful artworks yet so humble & down to earth in real life. *thank you carol 😉
*Remember my previous article on a few cases of prospects who had series of health warnings & saw improvements after following a regime? Went to follow up with one of them earlier this month, a businessman in mid 50s, & Im so happy to say: he is still taking the supplements & a better change of attitude towards his health. Good! & his sister’s poor bowel movement problem for many many many years have finally been solved and steadily improving. Good Good!
When a good habit kicks in, we thank god! When a bad one comes in, what do we do? We Pray!
* Did brow jobs for a few male models. Successful!! You didnt hear wrong, LOL. Its really good to look like david beckham isnt it? Well Groomed, clean & neat. Good looking. Loving your own brows is nothing to be shy of for guys, & for some who have been very much tempted to have theirs done, look out out for my JUNE highlights!! Featuring Brows & Guys & Make over Part II (this time round, Am gonna take the challenge for middle age catergories, yeap, middle age group (late 30s to 50s) ladies’ one of the greatest challenge will be their dehydrated skin— making foundation a challenging task. : e.g. how do we convince them to avoid red dang dang lipsticks & use nude ones instead? They’ll feedback: i look sick!! so pale! Applying a lip gloss is easy but to make these ladies apply is one huge task. (of course there’ll be a few modern ones) If they can’t accept the new age lipgloss, what about Smoky Eyes? I bet they’ll screammmmm!!!! & i’m gonna do the impossible in June. Stay Tuned for updates!
* Celebrated my birthday with lovely friends and received greetings including friends from countries like taiwan, malaysia, china, thailand, australia etc. Made me realise so many of my friends have either shifted overseas to study or new friendships have actually bloomed for the past few years eversince i began what i am doing now for it helps opens doors to many. network is really fun and important to a certain extent regardless any occupation.
*one sad news though: i failed my driving test!! first time though but…..but…. , thought i could have failed with ‘lower points’ instead of a high 36! Yup, you’re not reading it wrong, 36!! Goodness me right?
1.Hit curb not once but twice! (20 pts gone)
2.Didnt manage to check blind spots and back while reversing(6 pts gone).
3.Failed to stop at white line, which led to immediate failure!
4.Failed to change to correct lanes (this is one of my major problem!! )
I expected myself to be quite cool with the failure when the tester followed up with me. (ps: the tester was a very nice person, according to my instructor, he is well known to be very nice in ubi) But to my surprise, the failure actually took a toll on me. It occupied my mind the entire day!! plus didnt manage to sleep the night before coz i was so nervous.(the last time i felt like this was when i was 15, eagerly awaiting for the arrival of my superstars, can’t wait to be at the airport any moment)
Perhaps, my brain was sending off negatives waves, surprisingly, 2 appts for that day automatically got cancelled as both prospects had last min crops up. perhaps they could ‘sense’ me. & lucky i stayed indoor coz i really could not focus. The driving scenario kept replaying & the worst thing is I could not control my brain to stop thinking. but I was back on track the next day. Gave myself only 1 day of rest to nurse the failure.
But if you were to ask me: given a choice, will I be happier if I pass? The answer will be a huge NO NO! Coz i’ll be a threat to anyone & to myself as well. unless i’m ready, will then I accept the ‘pass’ happily. Everything happens for a GOOD reason! so thank goodness i failed this time round, next round will be better. To peeps out there who failed like me: don’t hate the tester, they’re saving lives. When we’re ready, they’ll sense it & thats when they give the green light. yes, re-taking each test is expensive, but what is $150 verse a life?
my buddy shared with me his first failure was when he failed to stop to give way to pedestrian. To him, the pedestrian was on the phone & body language showed that he will not be not crossing the zebra lines, thus my buddy moved his car slowly. As the car moves ahead of the road, tester looked at rear mirror and saw the pedestrian crossing. That was when he said to my friend: you should give way to pedestrian. Perhaps tester’s point of view, no matter what, safety comes first or maybe… From a 3rd part point of view, if u were to ask me: arrows at pedestrian pls!! To us future pedestrian, pls do not chat on the phone 1) near zebra corssings 2) esp not in front of a L plate car, moreover one that is being tested. Poor fellow might have to pay another hundred to retest just to compensate to your ignorant talking-on-the-phone habit. 😉
May 21 – 23 was amazing as i participated in part of the backstage crew for Sandsation performance at Esplanade.
(videos are uploaded in http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150198156000331&ref=mf)
It was a wonderful event at the outdoor bay, facing the beautiful coast of Singapore & open skies. the make up was successful & most importantly we enjoyed the process. i think the best element in making a project successful is to enjoy what we do and not treat it a j.o.b. When this happens, we are no longer slave to S-11 (aka $) but more of time owner who has the freedom to choose what to do with the available hours. Best part is, the effect will turn out to more than just a distinction. I would say, high high distinction. 🙂
What I observed is the amazing huge hours that these set up crew put in before -during- after a show. Say, if the show begins at 7.30pm, set up has to be done prior 4 – 5 hours before that, sound check, system check, positions check etc. Kudos to these crew people.
Tips to stage performance – make up: Esp for outdoor shows, putting a good masque is very very important as it stays put make up very well, helps reduce foundation being patchy & excess facial oil. (plus in a humid weather like singapore, feeling sticky is something we cannot avoid) When skin is well moisturised, fine lines will be reduced as well. Usually for stage performance, (similar to photo shoots), foundations are in layers!! and i really do mean layers!!! Imagine , we cleanse, tone —-> here comes: eyecream, pore refinisher, moisturiser,(* sunblock) , liquid foundation & concealer, compact powder , pressed powder & sometimes loose powder then blusher. Lots of stuff isn’t it? But without solid foundation, audience from the floor or shoots from camera will not be as lovely. & Cons to it will be , higher chance to clogged pores . Goodness! Therefore, one must not be lazy esp in the make-up removing stage. Have to invest both time & money on products to rejuvenate skin just like taking bird nest after a long day of work to repair the body.
ps : if main focus is on the beautiful costume, reduce on overwhelming accessories,Hair, belts, shoes etc unless you’re looking very much into lady gaga’s style, kindly ignore previous comment). Like wise, if focus is on the eyes , go easy on the blusher & lips. Go easy on eyes if focus is on lips like scarlett johansson. Key is : BALANCE
And what if we go strong on everything? You;ll certainly be the centre of attention & if that is your objective, congrats!! You’ll probably achieve it easily. 😉 Seen the character who played ‘Ah Niu’s younger sister ‘ in the movie Puppy Love Ice Kachang? Noticed Ping Guan and Ah Niu’s expression when they saw her ‘go strong on everything’ concept? WoohoO!!
There is also the ‘nude’ make up concept which will never go out of trend. The concept is just opposite: Go Easy on everything. I am a huge fan to this concept! Very soothing to eyes, makes us look clear, fresh and radiant!! One word: Healthy-looking! A little cherry-looking, rosy blusher and lip gloss will give a perfect touch! Viola~
Many thanks to my good friend brandon (aka choon hong ) who has graciously helped me enhanced these prettier photos. Gone are those mahjong paper lines & uneven lightings. Cheers!!
And behind the scenes will be all revealed. Imagine if the location were to be in a studio, everything would be perfect for a magazine shoot!
Before the shoot, we gotta fill our stomachs first , that’s rule no.1!
Let’s get started!!
ps: hui Fen trims brows really well!!
I’ve learnt that make overs are not a one-man-show. Yes it can be, but it’ll be super tiring so I chose to delegate & teach. Its like SARS. It all started with 1 pax then spread to the rest. An unforgettable activity will always require team work & everyone’s participation. Once basics are taught, girls go hands-on and try on themselves. Only by doing this, will they be able to make themselves pretty on any other days.
Finally, Viola~!! The results:
Conclusion: The best policy is to teach a person how to catch fish to survive, not to feed him fish everytime~
Interesting May 15th 2010 yesterday. Did amazing make overs for 4 beautiful young ladies, each of different ‘flavours’. But ultimately its the happiness & sense of achievement shared by everyone in the team who made it possible.
Make Overs are one of the best ways to rediscover oneself, a side which you’ve never thought you can be. Quit admiring pretty babes from magazines or from friends’ facebook. Be one yourself!! Everyone is blessed with a special look. Even identical twins will look different. Polish from there & brand yourself to a whole new you. Don’t be a shadow of others. Admire yes, Envy yes, but not copy.
Profile 1) H.Fen :
Background: V. Oily Skin, Used to have really really bad acne & outbreak. Uneven Skin texture. Clogged pores woes.
Tips: Proper Good cleansing, toning & moisturising is a MUST. This ‘before’ pic is actually an improved version to H.Fen’s skin as compared to 6 months ago. She has been diligently following a skincare & diet regime to help reduce on inflammation & further out-breaks. A good scrub followed by pore cleansing masque is absolute necessary too. With clean skin, make up becomes way easier & end result will be fantastic for her type of skin condition! With a touch of good quality foundation which is light & yet covers well, skin will feel happy & make up will look wolala! Who says acne prone people aren’t entitled to make up? yes you can IF ONLY you’re not lazy in the make up removing & basic skincare regime. Anything is possible!
ps: If the focus is on the eyes & lashes, go easy on the lip-colour.
Profile 2) Jolene
Background: Dry & tired looking skin. Freckles based & uneven skin tone. Fines lines around eye area despite young age.
Tips: A moisture Intense Masque together with Guasha Facial Massage will work wonders to her skin type. Not only will skin look more radiant, it will also glow beautifully & instantly. Her strength lies in her pair of lovely eyes & brows which require little management skills apart from regular trims & eye care regime like using a a good lifting eye creme diligently. Very good example to display sun-kissed look, with a touch of J.Lopez style. Tanned girls rocks too!
Ps: To ladies with long thick hair : A good pony tail (with large earrings) will give an instant facelift together with the combo of masscara & eyeliner. Wollalala! or we can go with Option 2: Let it all down and flow naturally. Again, focus on the eyes follow by a tinge of nude lip gloss. Same person but totally different feel isnt it? I know, Im nodding my head too. Make up is one of the greatest inventions on earth!!!!! But most importantly, if you’re blessed with good looks but don’t take care of it, do not shed a tear when it leaves you quietly one day…start today!
“There is no ugly ladies on earth, just super lazy ones”, don’t you agree?
Profile 3) X.Ning
Back Ground: Used to have very bad outbreak around the cheeks area esp, uneven skin tone. High Forehead, combination skin type (both oily & dry). Natural Curls (hair). But blessed with lovely features esp. on the eyes & lips.
tips: Everyone will bound to have their ‘best looking’ feature. As make up artiste, we got to discover that part & enhance it. We ourselves have to admire our model’s feature & from there, make the best out of it. The art of make up is afterall to enhance our strengths & to cover up our flaws. For X ning case, in my eyes, her strength is her eyes & brows like Jolene’s which require little management skills once again. Choose the correct type of fake lashes was easy for her. Most Importantly, her brows were shaped to an ultimate beauty. A choice of white eye shadow not only stand out from her skin tone but also lifted her eyes amazingly.
Style: We don’t aim to create something overly-fake/ Go the Natural way. Fake eye lashes will not look too fake if right type of foundation, eyeliner, blusher are all in place.
Background: Broad facial structure. Prone to pimples, occasional clogged pores problems, dark eye circles, fine lines around eye areas, superb ‘problematic’ eyebrows that require high level of management, drawing & shaping skills. For those who also faces the same ‘eyebrow woes’, you’ll understand 100% what i meant by the above ” superb problematic’ eyebrows. But she is born with pretty doll – looking eyes. I realised that these 4 young ladies are all blessed with beautiful eyes and not too harsh features. With make up, it’ll only do more good than bad. Which is why in this make over, main focus is all on their eyes & brows.
tips: Guasha Facial massage is almost a MUST for her case to ‘shift’ every possible inch upwards to add in more volume to the cheeks area. Kelly has also been diligently taking care of her eyes. As compared to 6 – 8months ago, her dark eye circles have indeed improved tremendously. Gone are the days are heavy puffy & dark circle problems. With better skin condition currently, make up becomes less hassle & worrying as long as she cleanses, tone, eye care via eyecreme/eye masque (regularly), pore refinishing & moisturises twice daily at least.
ps: with envious eyes like hers, this time round, we did without eyeliner. yES that’s right, if you look closely, no eye liner at all. Main idea is to display a natural look here.
just a gentle note: the above pics did not undergo any form of photoshop. By looking at the uneven lighting in different pics, professionals will be able to tell the difference. Almost everything was purely D.I.Y. We managed to ‘borrow’ some natural light from the sun & from the room light. We actually pasted mahjong papers as white background if you look closer. & the camera we used is even more ‘powerful’! just a normal digi cam. So if you’re applauding in amazement, thank you very much. & the reason in me letting out these little behind-the-scenes secrets is to let everyone know that nothing is impossible. As long as we put our heart & soul to something, even with limitations, we’ll still be able to produce great works!
Cheers to all hardworking ladies out there who take the effort everyday to look good as a form of respect to both themselves & to the people around them! Cheers~!!
I’ve finally made my promise last friday to grandpa! It feels AWFULLY TERRIBLE to not do what one has promised and vice versa, it feels AWFULLY GREAT to fulfill one’s promise to another, moreover its to your grandfather. Eversince the passing of grandma, many things have changed..& just when I was scratching my head to think of something to spice up my grandfather’s life, there Ip Man II came to the rescue. It was also my very first time bringing him to the movies!! Think I had just made ‘memoir’ in my life journal once again.
Friday 4.30Pm IP MAN II
it was a 4.30pm show at Eng Wah Jubliee @ amk.
Chose a not-so-near & not-so-far seat from the screen.
Arrived perfectly at the hall.
Grandpa was holding a walking stick. He was trying his best to figure his way in the dark too, though I was beside him to stand by just in case.
Found our seat, bingo! 4th row from the front.
Got settled down.
His eyes were wide opened, staring at the huge flickering screen. & movie began… …
& thing is , throughout the movie, instead of concentrating on Ip Man, my main main focus was more on grandfather instead. LOL. i kept asking if he was cold, if he needed to go toilet, if he understood the movie, if he can see the screen. After an hour, if he would like to go toilet, if he was cold, if he would like to put on his jacket etc. If you were sitting right next to me, you’ll probably slap me to shut up. Yes i know & I can totally understand that. LOL!! But as much as it may irritate a 3rd person’s point of view, you;ll be surprised, each time i asked a question, grandpa just nodded he is fine. He is good. He is comfortable. Nope, he does not need the gents. Yes, he could see the screen. & though he’s into his 80s already, he still reacts quite well, at least in my memory, he laughed when Ip Man & Sammo Hong ended in as equals during their fight at table top. A huge enlightenment to me at that poiint of time, Movies do PLAY A HUGE IMPORTANT ROLE in everyone’s life esp senior citizens. So no more excuses in not bringing senior citizens out.
ps: There was this other senior citizen walking in slowly to his seat too, accompanied by his son. He too was holding a walking stick, slowly making his way up. i was like: grandpa, your friend over there… lol, i meant more like : look grandpa, its normal to watch movie at your age, see, you’ve got company!
During the movie, yes, grandpa did make a trip to the gents afterall. & here, i thank the audience the other day for being so kind and patient. As we walked down the steps to the gents, more or less the screen would be blocked right? I was so worried people would be hissing for us to hurry. Locals do have a heart afterall. Imagine you’re in the middle of the most exciting part & then came an elderly walking down the aisle slowly, will you hiss at him? Nope, at least i wont. Coz one day, I’ll be like that too.
Therefore at the end of a fruitful 2 hour, conclusion is :
1. Yeap, I missed 20% of the movie. But i compensated myself by catching 2nd time with my dad. (He has been waiting eagerly for this show too).
2. I discovered, by showing the ticket counter a senior citizen EZ Link, the tickets are only $4 each for them.
3. Tip: Always have elderly sitted in early before the movie coz they’ll have difficulty finding their seats.
4. Always bring a jacket & advise them to drink little water before the movie
5. Sit near exit. (in a small cinema, 3 to 4 rows away from screen is ideal)
6. Trend: Elderly apparently no longer like walking sticks but rather, substitute with umbrella instead.
7. Self-reflect: Uncles & grandfathers are apparently more ‘on’, ‘hip’ than grandmothers & aunties. Aunties do not like having to sit in a cold place for more than an hour and to face a huge screen. They would rather ‘dry-swim’ aka Mahjong I believed. But for uncles and grandfathers, action movies will always be a lovely choice! Esp if the actors are from their generation.
8. choose a weekday; 4.30pm timeslot is perfect coz its non-peak, so you won’t have to worry if the cinema will be crowded etc. even if elderly has to go proceed to gents, we wouldnt have to worry much in blocking others. & after the movie, perfect once again for a lovely family dinner at 7pm. & while their mind is still fresh from the movie, good topic to talk about during dinner.
9. Don’t over-protect the elderly. its like teaching child to walk. usually, when a child falls accidentally while learning to walk, natural reflex would be to stand up and walk again unless it was really a bad fall. but if parents over protect & gave unnecessary woo & ahhss, the child will cry even louder & seek the attention. & in future, we;ll only be grooming pampered children instead of brave warriors who learn the spirit : to stand up again after fell. What i meant was : if they’re able to carry out chores by themselves, by all means let them do it. i’ve seen some cases whereby almost everything maid maid maid. Whats the point of living then? Elderly (like little children) do sometimes need to feel that they are still useful.
During this movie trip, yes i did hold on to him a few times. but most of the time, i encouraged him to walk by himself. For my side, as long as i m always in a standby mode to ‘back him up’, its alright. Walk with him, not Walk for him. Eat with him, not eat for him. Do things at their pace for once, this is one of the things I’ve learnt.
Let’s strive to make our little lives a little more eventful each time, shall we? Otherwise in a blink blink of eye, time will just fly. Soon comes, jan, then feb, then june, then dec, then another new year. kinda scary isnt it. this will also mean our loved ones are growing older day by day & the amount of time to spend with them reduces as well. a 2 hour spent like this is priceless. Something within most our ability. It just a matter of choice & priority. Don’t always ‘ next time’. For once, do it this time.
Woo~ April 2010 has left us and here comes Month of May…
Last month has been an amazing wonderful month ! (yes, there may be downs as well but no point crying over spilt milk. mOST Importantly we learn to move on from spilt milk, reflect and improve to prevent the next bottle from spilling dont u agree?)
Month of April taught me one important lesson. & that is; Don’t give up easily in your field & people can see/feel it esp when you put your heart & soul to it. Don’t skip here & there. Be faithful. There is always good karma to doing it. In my previous article, i mentioned how a normal life journey by right should be. Before age of 25, we are privileged to explore around what we really want as most of us would not have settled down yet. between 25 – 30, we should most likely have found what we really really want; a career which we’ll marry to & hold on till the end …and so on and so forth.
Then i looked back at mine….Most of my friends know the field I am in & they will always say : Your career & you are binded as one already.(in a positive way) To the extent – in their eyes, I’m never sick of my industry. Its strong enough to become part of me & my lifestyle. But, to all: Don’t you agree that it is a blessing to know someone who mean what they say and say what they mean? If you do not agree, then congrats! you’ve havent met enough devils in life yet. To all my friends out there: as much as you know me & my character, you’ll be amazed that I do meet devils too. & because of these devils which made me almost ‘vomit blood’ , i told myself i’ve got to set values straight & not be like them.
In business, this is very important. The Credibility & trust we give to our customers including our friends. Sometimes we tend to take for granted to people who are esp close to us & often forget they are sometimes customers too. We either over-sell or under-service. If our friends began to shun us, its time to reflect why.
For most business owners or self employed, initial stage will take a little more effort in sowing seeds & creating awareness. Support esp from closest family members were the hardest to gain. ( skeptical eyes are often present. What may seems like sincere advice sounded like doubts to me sometimes.) First 2 years for me was a struggle as I was at cross junction. No clear direction then & neither did I know that I would be serious in this business. I just knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, be my own boss, as i always believe that it is only in business that has a good system will one be able to really have money work for you. Unlike being employed, there will always be endless of politics (yeap it is everywhere but some place will always have maximum politics while some have minimum of it) , fixed salary (with perhaps some yearly bonus) etc. But what irks me is that my fate will always lie in someone’s else hand. Yes, in life, we do meet good people. Lets say I meet a really good boss who appreciates my talent & my usefulness to the company but who is able to stop a global financial tsunami? What if Im being retrenched at the age when I need $$$ the most? Yes, there is also certain risk to strive out on own. Perhaps it is my character. Perhaps I like to be unpredictable. I like changes & new things. Perhaps I was from Hospitality & Tourism Management which enhanced my hunger to lead a not-so-normal-&-a-little-more-exciting life. Perhaps this character of mine is also why i attracted friends of similar character. =)
Year 2010 will mark my 3rd to my business. Woohoo~~ & Next year will be my 4th and then very soon, i’ll reach my 5th anniversary. I often ask myself, how many 5 years will we have in our peak moment? Peak as in good, healthy & young stage in life. Filled with bustling energy all day long, good health still, dare to dream spirit (which sad to say seems to decrease everytime one’s age increases) etc… Esp for ladies, how many 5 years can we afford to commit to our career?
Up to date, thanks to my field, I ve made many interesting friends. Friends of different culture & language (thailand, taiwan, china & malaysian, friends of different age group ( as young as teens to almost 70 year old), friends from all walks of life (from a normal hawker to company’s director to aspiring artistes) & friends of different characters & family backgrounds. (from single mum to happy family of four etc ) My field has opened my eyes to another level i would say. Perspectives which I never used to see before now appears. Thoughts have matured along the way (still long way for improvement though) & behaviour seems better i would say. (at least more independent). For my age of 23, I often motivate myself that its amazing!! If you agree with me, you’ll nod to the fact :
1. not many young people know what they want
2. not many are able to find good mentors (be it of same or different industry ) to learn from therefore keep having merry-go-rounds in life till they are old.
3. some youth dared to dream & but dared not pursue it while some dared to dream, dared to pursue but lacks consistency.
4. not many constantly reflect & think & reflect & think
5. not many dared to go against esp family’s objections & pursue what they really want
6. back to the square one : not many youths are hungry for success for we are too comfortable and pampered since young including me myself. & frankly speaking, it did take me quite some time to think before discovering what i really want. But has the new generation even start to think ?
Don’t be shy to motivate yourself OFTEN!! SELF MOTIVATION IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS WE ARE BLESSED WITH IF WE KNOW HOW TO UNLEASH IT. Learn to self -appreciate more often too. BALANCE is the key, there must be a balance to everything. Over self appreciation might lead to arrogance. Therefore Balance is the key.
